Maybe it was the influence from those early visits to Coney Island, Rockaways Playland, the amusement parks and boardwalk arcades, regardless it's been over 29 years that I have been in the pinball and arcade business. In the beginning my father got me involved when he ventured into operating a game route. That evolved into doing service work for various route operators and arcades. I even tried full line vending which included snack machines, soda, candy etc. Following that I operated my own game route for a while but pinball was always what interested me most.
I didn't know it at the time but I had found the ideal occupation that had everything I was looking for. I love working with my hands, I like a good challenge and I get to use my mechanical skills and artistic creativity. I also love the variety of every day being different combined with meeting all the great people I come in contact with. I still get a great sense of satisfaction and pride when going from a 'before' to an 'after' in the restoration process. I guess you could say I'm lucky I found the perfect business for myself!
Not hype just plain truth here. Anyone that knows me I used to buy every new machine made in box from mid 90's till about 2003.. sold them all about 34 machines..just came back in and just bought 2 machines Indiana Jones and Theater of Magic refurbished like new.
Have to say New York Pinball/Ronald Barbagallo does unreal work as like I said anyone that knows me knows I like new out of box and these 2 pins were unreal. If you want a great pin redone Ron is your guy. Costs money but the end result is unreal plays like new machines thanks Tom

I have one of the best pinball repair guys, his name is Ron. I have been using him for almost 3 years and he is a gem. He can fix most problems right on the spot, but most importantly he will NOT rip you off. He is extremely reasonable. He has repaired worked on all my pins: The Addams Family, Theatre of Magic, Medieval Madness, Funhouse and Revenge from Mars.
I just picked up a SWE1, which Ron has not had the opportunity to work on yet :)
P.S. I know Ron also owns a Indiana Jones pinball machine, so I he will be very familiar with it's problems.
